21 Years of Scaling OER

In 2002, MIT OpenCourseWare released its first pilot of 50 open courses and helped set the stage for today’s vibrant global ecosystem of open education. In this talk, MIT OCW Director Curt Newton reflects on some of the lessons learned over these past two decades, the current state of OER, and the promise of even greater positive impact in the years to come.
